USource Webinar: The 'Why' Behind Mandatory Federal Employment Law Posters
Join us for a webinar on Thursday, April 29th at 10:00 AM CDT
If you were asked why you are required to post all of those federal employment law posters on your bulletin boards, what would be your response? We would like to venture a guess on this response, “we post the federal posters because a reliable source informed us that it was required to post them.” An additional response, “the federal posters are posted so that employees can read them and understand how certain federal employment laws may impact them personally.” The responses point to the following conclusion: seeing, reading and understanding that these federal employment laws apply to all of us, is ultimately why they are required to be posted on our bulletin boards.
During this webinar we will explain the laws behind the federal mandatory employment law posters. The posters provide the transparency for employers to administer and remain compliant with federal employment laws and for employees to understand their legal rights. The webinar will explain the specific laws detailed on the posters and the reason it is required that employers maintain up-to-date posters visible for all employees and also for applicants applying for bank positions to view.
While each state has their own required employment law posters, in this webinar we will focus on federal employment law due to time constraints.
We look forward to you joining us as we review the ‘why’ behind the mandatory federal employment law posters. The hope is that you come away from the webinar with a greater understanding of federal employment laws.
USource webinars are free for USource members and $95.00 for non-members (USource membership is separate from the services you receive at United Bankers Bank–UBB).
