Challenges continue for community banks in 2023 causing many to review their employee benefits strategies. Many employers have had to juggle the competing priorities of holding down costs while remaining competitive with their benefits offerings.
The job market remains largely employee-driven, forcing employers to stay aggressive with benefits and compensation. The overall theme of balancing priorities will likely continue. To maintain an engaged workforce, employers will have to meet employees where they are with a wide range of benefit offerings as a way to both show and tell employees how much the organization values them.
To hold costs down while appealing to employees, a growing number of employers are turning to voluntary benefit programs to appeal to a variety needs. These programs can provide valuable supplemental coverage to employees at a relatively low cost, borne by the employee.
This webinar will examine how to design, evaluate, prioritize and communicate your employee benefit strategy. We will review what steps to take as well as explore several benefit trends and perks for consideration. As employers evaluate their benefits, they have an opportunity to further support the physical and mental health and financial wellbeing of their employees. It is important for employers to gain an understanding of the types of benefits currently available in the marketplace so they can determine which could best address the needs of their employees. In today’s intense labor market, a robust benefits package could give employers a needed edge in attracting and retaining talent.
