• Touch it with the force you would use to click the mouse button.
• Press the pad of your finger (flat part, where the fingerprint is) on the sensor
• When pressing, line the tip of your finger to the top of the glass
• Hold it down for 1 second or until you here a "da-ding" from the computer as confirmation
• You will see it light up when you touch it.
• Wait about 1 second after it lights up before you remove your finger.
• Do not lick your finger before touching the sensor
• Do not use lotion just before touching the sensor
• Clean sensor with scotch tape if needed
